Please be aware the Governments Universal Free School Meals
Only applies to Infant pupils in Reception, Year 1 and 2.
The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and diminish the differences between them and their peers. It is paid to schools according to the number of pupils who have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years or have been in care for 6 months or longer.
We are committed to reducing the difference in attainment and progress between vulnerable pupils and the Pupil Premium forms a vital part of that process. We will provide support for
• Pupils’ access to education
• Pupils’ access to the curriculum
• Alternative support and intervention within the school
Reporting Pupil Premium
The reports below aim to provide detailed information on how the Pupil Premium has been used within school. Reports will detail the progress made towards reducing the difference in achievement. This will be supported by reported data and academic progress. Reports will be supported by key providers of the school’s inclusion services. Teachers will report on pupil progress and Teaching Assistants will be asked to report on the intervention in place for key pupils and the impact that intervention has had. The final report will be collated and presented by the Headteacher.
Please see below to see how the Governing body have decided to use the allocated funding and the impact it has had on pupil progress and achievement.
