Tibshelf Schools Federation has a school uniform, which is strongly supported by parents, children, staff and Governors. The uniform is as follows:
- Sweatshirt / Jumper / Cardigan – purple
- Skirt / Pinafore / Trouser / Shorts – Plain grey or black
- Shirt / Blouse / T- Shirt – Plain white or yellow
- Socks / Tights – White, Navy, Grey or Black
- Shoes – Black, sensible
In summer the colours remain the same, but if parents prefer to dress girls in cotton dresses (plain, checked or striped), then these will look equally smart. Whilst we do have a logo, children can wear the above without.
We like all children to go out and play every day as they need a break and an opportunity to run about and play games with their friends. Therefore, during the winter months children will need to bring a warm coat every day. Children should wear wellies in very wet or snowy weather.
PE uniform
Children can choose a colour top from blue, red and green when they start at Tibshelf Infant school. They are given a colour team when they start at Town End School and this is the colour t-shirt they wear for lessons. Children can wear leggings or shorts. Children will need trainers for outside and pumps/trainers for indoors. Please do not send children in rugby or football tops/tops which are not plain. Earrings will need to be removed or taped.
